The days of plain chocolate chip cookie dough are over at Creams. Although the white chocolate cookie dough utopia is delicious, why not experiment with the smarties, Oreo, white kinder Bueno or sticky banoffee cookie dough? Who said cookie dough had to be simple?

Irie Shack

The hidden gem on Woodville Road, known for its authentic Caribbean cuisine. If you’re not too full up from their appetising one pots or gourmet burgers, why not give their heavenly cookie dough a go? A very generous portion so not for the faint-hearted. You might be left in a food coma, but it’s worth it.

Kaspa’s

The well-known, high-street dessert chain found on St. Mary Street does­­ the best cookie dough. With lots of variety – milk chocolate chip, white chocolate chip, smarties, fudge brownie or banoffee, you’re bound to feel absolutely stuffed after. Sweet and chocolatey, with a huge dollop of fresh ice cream, their soft-baked cookie dough is the perfect heart-warming comfort food that you won't be able to resist.

A small kiosk found in St. David’s shopping centre. But don’t be fooled – this stall is more than it looks. With lots of different flavours – milk chocolate, triple chocolate brownie, caramel and white chocolate, fudge and honeycomb, salted caramel brownie, white chocolate and raspberry, you’re bound to enjoy any of these heavenly cookie doughs. Or why not try one of their specials? Red velvet, Lotus biscoff, Nutella, Kinder melt, or if you want to go all out, I'm sure you will be tempted by some of their delicious toppings! With Nutella, peanut butter, M&Ms, crushed Oreos, Kinder, toffee popcorn or pretzels on offer, My Cookie Dough is the perfect place for spicing up your cookie dough!

Pizza Hut

Now when I say Pizza Hut, the first thing that springs into people’s minds is bound to be pizza, because why not? But if you’ve got any room left after no doubt demolishing their tasty pizzas, their indulgent cookie dough is a must-try. Pizza Hut cookie dough was actually the first I ever tried (quite a few years ago now, #memories), and wow it is absolutely irresistible. The chocolate chip cookie dough is my favourite, but the white chocolate and caramel cookie dough is also worth trying too.

The cookie dough s’more from Revolution will leave you absolutely stuffed, if you can finish it that is! The generous portion of half-baked chocolate chip cookie dough, gooey melted Nutella and heaps of toasted mini marshmallows, drenched in salted caramel chocolate sauce and chocolate ice cream is delightful to say the least. However, it is very sickly so it’s a good idea to share with a friend!

Wetherspoons

The classic student hang-out, known for its cheap burgers and popular pitchers, Wetherspoons’ desserts often seem to be overlooked. But the warm cookie dough sandwich is revolutionary – it is an absolute must try. Although quite sickly, the perfect pairing of cookie dough, salted caramel filling and ice cream is spot on for those with a sweet tooth.
